Throughout 2022, each of our Cinch Self Storage store teams have chosen local charities to support. Our Bicester team is proud to be supporting Oxfordshire Mind as one of their chosen charities.

This means that we are donating £2 for every new move into the store. As well as this, customers can use tokens to ‘vote’ for their favourite charity.

At the end of the initiative, we will share the total donations accordingly between the charities.

Oxfordshire Mind

Oxfordshire Mind is one of a network of 100 local Mind charities, supporting people with mental health illnesses. They raise awareness of mental health issues, provide services for those in need, and challenge the stigma surrounding mental health. 

This support and awareness is hugely important, as 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem in any one year. Oxfordshire Mind helps over 30,000 people with mental health challenges every year.

Their services include housing, talking therapies, benefits advice, and a free confidential information line. They also offer courses (such as ‘practical ways to wellbeing’), physical activity programmes, and volunteering opportunities. As well as this, they facilitate over 60 peer-support groups each week.

Local Community, Local Support

Like Cinch Self Storage, they really believe in the importance of community, and the need for local support for people with mental health illnesses.
