Throughout 2022, each of our Cinch Self Storage store teams have chosen charities to support. For each charity we will be donating £2 for every move into the facility. Customers are able to donate by ‘voting’ for their favourite charity using tokens. The total donations will then be shared proportionately between the charities.

Our Letchworth team is proud to be supporting Jackie’s Drop In.

Jackie’s Drop In

The charity was founded in 2012 by Jackie Nealon, a carer to clients with disabilities. Jackie realised that after she finished her care duties, her clients lacked support, companionship and recreational entertainment. So, spending her own money and time, Jackie would organise trips to the shops, cinemas and restaurants. This allowed her clients to lead lives which were less restricted by their disabilities.

Jackie spent 2 years tirelessly sourcing somewhere suitable for her clients. Then, with support from the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation, Jackie secured St Michaels House.  As membership grew, so did the Centre. After 6 years, they’ve gone from 6 service users to a record of over 350. Jackie’s Drop-In works on a separate room basis filled with lots of fun recreational activities.

Cinch Self Storage Letchworth are now offering their support to Jackie’s Drop In by choosing it as one of the three charities the store will be supporting. 

This year, Cinch Self Storage wants to celebrate and support local charities which make a difference in their communities. And so, if you have some money to spare, please consider supporting Jackie’s Drop In.
